Our verdict
Sage People is built for the complexity of running HR across many countries with genuinely different leave, tax and compliance regimes, and it is priced and implemented like the enterprise tool it is, often nine months from signature to live. Rippling covers US and Canadian payroll natively and adds device and app provisioning most HR platforms never touch, at a fraction of the implementation time. A truly multinational organization with four different leave regimes on one org chart is Sage People's actual customer. A North American company that wants payroll, benefits and IT onboarding on one employee record is Rippling's, and it will be live in weeks, not quarters.
