Overview

What is Sage CRM?

Sage CRM is a competent mid market CRM with one honest reason to exist: it connects to Sage ERP in a way that no independent CRM does. If that is not your situation, the field is wide open and better products are cheaper.

What it does well

The ERP integration is the whole argument, and it is a real one. A salesperson can see live credit status, real inventory availability and actual order history from Sage 100 or Sage 300 inside the customer record, without a sync job and without a nightly export that is wrong by lunchtime. For a distributor whose reps need to know whether something is genuinely in stock before they promise it, that single feature carries the product.

The module structure means you can take sales alone and leave marketing and service, which suits teams who already have tools they like elsewhere.

Where it fits

Existing Sage 100, Sage 300 or Sage X3 customers with a sales team between five and fifty people. Deployment can be on premise or cloud hosted, which matters to a subset of buyers and to nobody else.

Where it frustrates people

Compared against HubSpot or Pipedrive on their own terms, it loses on almost every axis. The interface is dated, the mobile experience is poor, marketing automation is basic next to a purpose built tool, and the ecosystem of third party apps barely exists. Reps notice, and reviews from sales teams are markedly less positive than reviews from the finance people who chose it.

Buy it for the ERP link. If you find yourself justifying it on features, you are buying the wrong product, and we would rather tell you that now than after the rollout.

The ERP link is the entire reason and it works

Quotes built in CRM become orders in Sage 100 without anyone retyping anything. That was a whole job before, and it was a job that introduced errors.

My reps hate it and adoption reflects that

We ran it for two years and moved to HubSpot with a custom ERP integration. It cost more to build and the team actually uses it. The integration was never worth what the interface cost us in adoption.

We migrated off within two years

The mobile experience is a browser view of a desktop app. My field reps gave up in the first month. In 2026 that is not acceptable for a sales tool.

FAQ

We have the answers

Pricing

How much does Sage CRM cost?

Sage CRM does not publish a price. Every plan is quoted, and deals in this bracket typically land in the higher end of the market once implementation is included. Ask for a quote against your own headcount rather than a list price.

Integrations

What does Sage CRM integrate with?

Sage CRM connects with Sage 100, Sage 300, Sage X3, Microsoft Outlook and 1 more. Confirm the specific integration you depend on with a trial account before you commit, since depth varies more than a logo wall suggests.

Local fit

Does Sage CRM work for businesses in the US and Canada?

Sage CRM serves businesses in both the United States and Canada, and nothing about it is country specific in the way accounting or payroll tools are. Pricing is listed in US dollars, which is the vendor's real list price on both sides of the border.

Reviews

What do users say about Sage CRM?

Sage CRM holds 3.2 out of 5 across 203 verified reviews, and it scores highest on functionality. The rating is computed from those reviews and cannot be edited by the vendor. Read the full archive to see the pattern behind the number.
