Zoho CRM does most of what Salesforce does for roughly a fifth of the per seat price. The trade is polish and time: it will do what you want, but you will configure it yourself.
What it does well
The feature to price ratio is not close. Workflow automation, custom modules, scoring rules, territory management and full API access appear on tiers that cost less than a competitor's entry plan. For a 15 person sales team the annual difference against Salesforce is real money.
If you use other Zoho products, Zoho One bundles more than 40 applications per employee at a price that makes the individual products look expensive.
Where it frustrates people
The interface is dense and the terminology is inconsistent between modules. Settings are deep and not always where you expect. Support quality varies by time zone and the reviews are candid about slow first responses. Some integrations are shallower than the marketing suggests, so verify the one you depend on before you migrate.
None of that is disqualifying. It is the cost of the price, and reviewers who went in expecting it are consistently happy.
