Great invoicing, average accounting

The billable client limit is the real price, not the sticker. We crossed 50 clients and jumped a tier mid year, which was a bigger increase than I expected. Count your clients before you pick a plan.

Pros

Invoicing is the best in this category and clients notice the difference.

Cons

Double entry accounting arrived late and some accountants push back on it.

The nicest invoicing in the category

Automatic late payment reminders cut our average days to payment from about 40 to 22. I did nothing except turn the feature on. For a small consultancy where cash flow is the whole game, that is the entire value of the product in one sentence.

Pros

The client portal keeps every invoice and estimate in one place for the customer.

Cons

Sales tax handling is basic and will not solve economic nexus for you.

Late payment reminders paid for the subscription

Support is the surprise. A person answers the phone and knows the product. After years of support queues elsewhere I had forgotten that was possible.

Pros

The client portal keeps every invoice and estimate in one place for the customer.

Cons

Plans are priced by billable client count and crossing a tier is expensive.

Time tracking flows straight into an invoice, which is the workflow every agency actually has. No export, no copying hours across, no arguing about what was billed.

Invoicing is the best in this category and clients notice the difference.

Watch the client count

As an invoicing tool it is excellent. As accounting software it is adequate. Double entry arrived late and still feels bolted on, and my accountant has opinions about it. If your books are simple that is fine.
