My reps hate it and adoption reflects that

Adoption is the problem. Reps log the minimum and keep their real pipeline in a spreadsheet, which means my forecast is fiction. The ERP integration is great and it does not matter if nobody puts the data in.

Pros

Live ERP inventory and credit inside the record

Cons

Dated interface that sales teams resist

We migrated off within two years

We ran it for two years and moved to HubSpot with a custom ERP integration. It cost more to build and the team actually uses it. The integration was never worth what the interface cost us in adoption.

Quotes and orders flow into Sage ERP without retyping

Essentially no third party app ecosystem

Thank you for the review. Sage CRM is built to work most effectively alongside Sage ERP, and we understand it is not the right choice for every sales team. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss your requirements with you.

We migrated off within two years

The mobile experience is a browser view of a desktop app. My field reps gave up in the first month. In 2026 that is not acceptable for a sales tool.

The marketing module next to an actual marketing tool is not a comparison. Basic list email and that is about it. We ended up buying a separate platform anyway, which undermined the one system argument entirely.

Quotes flow into Sage 300 without retyping

Before this, a rep would promise stock, then the order would hit the ERP and the stock was gone. That stopped on day one. The credit hold visibility saved us twice in the first quarter.

Bought by finance, used by sales, and it shows

If you are not on Sage ERP there is no argument for this product. None. Pipedrive is cheaper and better and there are twenty others. The integration is the whole case.

Fine if you already run Sage ERP

Almost no third party apps. Everything we wanted to connect was a custom job. Coming from a modern CRM the emptiness of the marketplace is genuinely startling.

Quotes built in CRM become orders in Sage 100 without anyone retyping anything. That was a whole job before, and it was a job that introduced errors.

Reps stopped promising stock we did not have

Our reps can see real inventory and real credit status from Sage 300 inside the customer record. Not a nightly sync that is wrong by lunchtime, the actual number. For a distributor that single thing is worth more than every feature HubSpot has that this does not.
