We customized heavily and then went through two major version upgrades without a rebuild. Anyone who has been stranded two versions behind on an ERP because upgrading meant redoing every modification will understand why that is the sentence that matters most in this review.

Support goes through the partner and slows down

The subscription is reasonable and the implementation was a five figure project that ran two months long. That is normal for ERP and it was still the number that hurt. Budget the project properly or do not start, because the licence is not the cost.

Unlimited users, metered consumption

The report writer and generic inquiries are genuinely powerful and they are not intuitive. We ended up with one person internally who owns reporting, which is probably right anyway and was not in our plan.

Reporting is powerful and takes learning

Unlimited users is the headline and consumption is the meter. Our transaction volume grew faster than our headcount and our tier moved twice in three years. For a business with high volume and few people the model can work against you, so model your own numbers rather than assuming it is cheaper.

Landed cost including freight and duty lands on the item, so our margins are actually our margins. We were allocating freight annually in a spreadsheet and were wrong all year, every year.

The Construction edition handles AIA G702 and G703 progress billing, retainage on both sides and job costing properly. We evaluated three products that claimed construction support and only this one did it without a bolt on.

Construction edition does AIA billing properly

No per user licence means the warehouse supervisor, both shift leads and every project manager have their own login. Under our old ERP we had shared accounts because seats were four figures each, which was terrible for the audit trail and we did it anyway. That problem simply does not exist here.
