Unlimited users changed the maths for us
The reconciliation screen is the best thing about it. Statement on the left, your records on the right, match and move. I trained a new hire on it in about twenty minutes with no manual.
Pros
The reconciliation screen is the clearest in this category. New staff learn it in a day.
Cons
Payroll is not built in. In the US it hands off to Gusto, so you run two subscriptions.

No phone support when it actually mattered
We had a reconciliation problem three days before a filing deadline and there is no number to call. Email support answered the next morning, politely, and did not solve it. For a finance system, no phone line is a real gap.
Pros
The app marketplace is large and the integrations we use are actively maintained.
Cons
Payroll is not built in. In the US it hands off to Gusto, so you run two subscriptions.

Thanks for taking the time to write this up. Your point about reporting flexibility is fair and it is an active area of work for us. If you email support and mention this review we can show you a workaround for the reports you named.

Five people touch our books and every one of them has a login at no extra cost. Under our old system that was three paid seats and a shared password. That alone made the switch worth it, and the software turned out to be better too.
Pros
Unlimited users on every plan. Our whole team has access without a per seat bill.
Cons
US sales tax runs through Avalara rather than natively, which is more setup up front.
