Windows only, in a firm that went remote
We went fully remote and now we run it through a hosted desktop. It works. It is also 2026 and I am paying for a virtual machine to run a time tracker, which is a sentence I did not expect to say.

Great engine, no ecosystem
It bills better than anything else I have used and it does nothing else. No practice management, no matter management, no CRM. If you want those you are buying a second product, and then you are managing an integration.

Work in progress review before anything goes out means a partner can adjust time, write down what should be written down, and see the bill before the client does. That step is where the money is and most tools skip it.

Feels abandoned
We had a database corruption that took two days and a support call to resolve. We had backups so nothing was lost except the two days. For software this old and this mature that should not still be a failure mode.
